Department of Anatomy & Physiology

Anatomy & Physiology is department of science which deals with study of structures and functions of various cells, tissues, organs and systems of our body. This knowledge is helpful for understanding concepts of Pharmacology & Toxicology. Student becomes able to identify various organs / systems of our body and their interrelation with each other by using various models, skeleton and histological slides of various organs and tissues. Students acquire hands on skills of using microscope; counting RBC’s, WBC’s; finding bleeding time, clotting time, ESR; parameters like body temperature, heart rate, pulse rate, blood pressure etc.
