Established in 1980, the KDCA Institute of Pharmacy is the sense of gratification for Kolhapur. Considered a leading-edge Pharmacy Institution in Kolhapur and surrounding districts, it was set up primarily to meet the needs of students of nearby areas of Kolhapur and particularly for the benefit of fellow pharmacists and their offspring to get quality education and make them accomplished for the profession of Pharmacy. The institution got the Grant-in-Aid status from Government of Maharashtra in 1983.

Today, KDCA Institute of Pharmacy has achieved an admirable position as a centre of quality education due to well qualified, dedicated, efficient faculty, modern equipment’s and state of art infrastructure. It is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai (MSBTE). Recognized by apex regulatory bodies such as Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi (PCI) and Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai, Maharashtra (DTE).

The amiable culture of Kolhapur, healthy atmosphere, pleasant and peaceful surroundings of the institute make the place exemplary for education. The campus is spread across 4 acres of lush greenery with well-planned amenities and easy connectivity.

Under the able guidance of the Members and Office Bearers, Board of Management, Kolhapur District Chemists Association, the College has updated itself technically and trying to maintain the pace with time, while setting the highest professional standard in imparting education.
